Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded Microsoft in 1975 from practically nothing. They started it in his Garage! Since then Microsoft has set the pace and standards for most software via Windows. Bill Gates is the richest man in the World, a billionaire. Despite the unjustified harrasment of Gates' company by the US government, Microsoft continues to thrive.

He is currantly the director of the Web Corsortsium whose goal is to help the Web realize its full potential.

Steve Case founded AOl fifteen years ago. It has grown from 250 employes to over 15000. This internet service provide is a major contributer to the popularity and expansion of the Web. Steve is a graduate of Williams College. He is from Honolulu, Hawaii.

Admiral Grace Murray Hopper

Amiral Hopper was born in 1906 and died in 1992. In between these times she accomplished a lot, but the main thing I remember her for is that she invented tape recording of computer data. She did this in 30 minutes after she thought of it!  Almost unheard of in inventing.  This indirectly led to the now most popular method--magnetic disc.  Any time I am prone to woner if women should be in computers I think of her and know that they should.
